Founded in 1955, APEA Akrotiri—proudly nicknamed The Flamingos—has been the heart and soul of our community for over 70 years. Nestled in Akrotiri, our club plays its home matches at the Akrotiri Community Stadium, a close-knit venue with a capacity for 1,000 passionate supporters.

In 2020, Dutch investment breathed fresh life into the club, followed by a significant backing from American venture capitalist Rob Steiner in 2021, setting the stage for a new era of ambition and growth.

APEA made history in January 2022, becoming the first club in the Fourth Tier to transfer a player to Cyprus’s First Division—an inspiring milestone that speaks to our commitment to nurturing talent and aiming high.

The most recent seasons have seen our resilience and determination pay off. After competing in the Third Division, we earned well-deserved promotion to the Cypriot Second Division for the 2024–25 season—another proud moment in our journey.
